Do shut down your teacher computer at the end of the day.
Do press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, then click Lock Computer when you leave your computer unattended. You can unlock your computer by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete again and typing your password.
Do choose a password that is easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess. Combinations of letters and numbers can be good passwords.
Do change your password when you log in and see a message that says your password will expire in a certain number of days. If you keep using your current password until the expiration date, you will be locked out of the network and will have to contact MIS to have them reset your password to phoenix.
Do use your PESD Outlook email account for work-related email.
Don't use your PESD Outlook email account for personal email. Use Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, Gmail, etc. for personal email).
Do ask yourself this question before sending a message on your PESD Outlook account: "How would I feel if this message was published on the front page of the newspaper?"
Do remember that emails sent from or received to your PESD Outlook account are public records. Any member of the public has the right to read them.
